In continued support of a data center consolidation effort, our client is seeking an experienced SAN and Back-up Engineer to support layer 2 and 3 design and implementation efforts in a multi-tenant enterprise environment. The right candidate will have worked in a similar role and have extensive data center experience.
· Installation, configuration, and support experience. He/she should have multiple instances of product installation. The person should be comfortable working in a highly-switched, virtualized data centers.
· EMC Storage Engineer with hands on technical experience with VMAX, -V Type devices in a Windows 2000/2003/2008 environment
· Lead coordination of domain specific engineering activities in RDC.
· Leads domain team for implementation
· Responsible for developing and maintaining task level migration plans/Checklists.
· Coordinate the resources and manage activities for designated domain.
· Develop detailed designs and configuration specs for implementation.
· Management of escalations and problem resolutions.
· EMC Clarriion, EMC VNX, & Symantec NetBackup
